Almost exactly one year to the day from when we departed California, here we sit with the boat out of the water (on the hard in Nautical terms) where, in addition to making a major mess both inside and outside the boat, we are painting the bottom with new antifouling paint and doing a few repairs. We should launch on Monday. Then, weather permitting, we’re off for Fiji about the middle of May.
